CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion helps restore and maintain the skin’s natural protective function with ingredients not commonly found in other moisturizers. Its patented Multivesicular Emulsion (MVE) technology releases these ingredients over time, penetrating deep into the skin to hydrate and nourish.
Broad Spectrum SPF 30: sunscreen provides broad spectrum protection against the sun’s damaging rays.
Invisible Zinc: Helps provide a natural, physical barrier to the sun’s rays while being lightweight and fast-absorbing with no residue left behind.
Ceramides: Helps replace lipid levels in damaged skin to repair, restore, and maintain the skin’s natural barrier. Essential in preventing water loss from the skin.
Niacinamide: Helps the skin product more natural ceramides and fatty acids essential for repairing and restoring the skin barrier. May reduce skin redness.
Hyaluronic Acid: A humectant that attracts moisture to the top layer of the skin to ensure skin remains hydrated.

Suggested Use
Facial Skin Care Regimen
Step 1: Cleanse face with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser or CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser.
Step 2: Apply CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure
Reapply:
- at least every 2 hours
- use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating
- children under 6 months: Ask a doctor
Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increased your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
- limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- wear long sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses
